Dear Dr. Frenz:

It might appear that Dr. Mathis is making some points on details but that is not the case. In his reply of August 25, to Mr. Thomson,  he states:

"That Litvinov’s surname was Finkelstein is suggested only by Christian Identity sources."

The occurrence of this name appears in the World Encyclopedia (World Syndicate Publishing 1937) under
Maxim Litvinov", Peoples' Commissar, born 1875 to Jewish parents, surname Finkelstein.

I hardly believe that this encyclopedia is a "Christian Identity" source, so once again, we see that Mr. Thomson is correct and we cannot fault him for a memory which doesn't perform one hundred percent.

Sincerely,

N.C.  August 30, 2000
