KISS MY FREON

Freons are fluorocarbons which were developed as refrigerants by, of course, White people. Previously, ammonia and sulfur dioxide were used as such, and still are, but the relatively new non-toxic, and less disagreeable, Freons proved far more effective and ultimately, less expensive to produce. Moreover, Freon was used extensively as a propellant for aerosol applications.

Freons have chemical names such as dichloro-difluoromethane and trichloro-trifluoroethane. For ease of recognition, names composed of numerals were used in place of the rather tedious chemical names. Thus, trichloro-fluoromethane was called CFC-11 and dichloro-tetrafluoroethane, CFC-114. (Chloro; Fluoro; Carbon.) When Freons are used as refrigerants, they are given names such as R-12 and R-134. The numbers in any case relate to the empirical formula for the molecule.

Most of us are familiar with carbon tetrachloride, CCl4, commonly known as Carbona which was a good cleaning solvent for home use. (I haven't checked but is just might not be available anymore. In that case, we can be sure that some nignog drank a bottle of it and suffered disastrous results.) Carbona is tetrahedronal in structure as is Freon R-14, carbon tetrafluoride. Fluorine is about one-half the density of chlorine and so substituting it for chlorine yields a substance less dense than the original.

Methane, CH4, occurs naturally as "manure gas" and "swamp gas." Ethane, C2H6, is the main ingredient in the fuel for our gas stoves and ranges. Freons are derived from these substances by substituting fluorine and chlorine atoms for the hydrogen. The number identifier tells us how many carbon, chlorine, hydrogen and fluorine atoms are bonded in the molecule. Take R-134, for example. This 3-digit number tells us that the number of carbon atoms is 2, that is, one less than the number of digits. The first digit, 1, tells us that the number of hydrogen atoms on the first carbon is 0 (one less than the digit). The number of hydrogen atoms on the second carbon is 2 (one less than the second digit). The last digit, 4, indicates 4 fluorine atoms. Doubling the number of digits will give us 6, which is the total number of atoms which are bonded to the carbon chain. In this example, the number of fluorine atoms is 4 and the number of hydrogens is 2. Since 4 + 2 = 6, there is no place for any chlorine. We now have the chemical name: tetrafluoroethane.

Another example: R-12. The number of digits is 2 which identifies it as a methane derivative. The first, and only, carbon has 0 as the count of hydrogen atoms. The last digit gives us 2 atoms of fluorine. Since there are 2 x 2 = 4 "spaces" to be occupied, that means there must be 2 chlorine atoms (4 - 2 = 2). So, R-12 is dichloro-difluoromethane. There is a "500" nomenclature, but for the present that's enough for the names.

The earth's atmosphere consists of two regions, the homosphere and the heterosphere. The homosphere (homo; the same) is that region where the composition remains fairly stable. In the heterosphere, the composition varies considerably. The homosphere extends to approximately 60 miles above the earth's surface.

The "ozone hole," which we have heard far too much about, is little other than a region where the ozone concentration is below average. Its position, and diminishment, depends upon many factors. Usually, the rarest area is over Antarctica where the penguins are well-protected by their feathers from any tiny increase in ultra-violet radiation which might result. Glass effectively blocks UV from entering our windows. Arabs are smart enough to protect themselves from the burning rays of the sun but many White folks are not. They apparently feel themselves to be some variety of reptile or have an internal hankering to be a nignog.

Oxygen, O2, and ozone, O3, are both obviously composed of atomic oxygen. Both are found simultaneously in the atmosphere. Ozone is produced from oxygen by lightning, or other electrical discharges, and the ultra-violet radiations emanating from the sun. Some UV wave-lengths change ozone back to oxygen. This back and forth change occurs mainly in the upper region of the homosphere, from about 6 miles up to the 60 miles. This region is given the name of ozonosphere, which is sometimes referred to as the ozone layer. The oxygen/ozone equilibrium is dependent upon the UV radiation of the sun and the amount of oxygen diffusing upward from the flora of our polluted planet. The sun's radiation is not constant and the ratio of the various UV wave-lengths, varies over a considerable range due to erratic solar activity thus affecting the oxygen/ozone balance. The overall total amount of oxygen produced by plants has been steadily decreasing as the number of featherless bipeds continues to grow unchecked. Since the ozonosphere (ozone layer) adsorbs most of the ultra-violet light which strikes this planet, it shields all life from those deadly radiations. A "healthy" ozone layer is essential for life. In this layer, oxygen "absorbs" some wave-lengths of UV light and ozone, others. Interestingly enough, the ozone layer is little other than rarified air with considerable amounts of hydrogen in its upper reaches.

"Science" may be classified as applied or theoretical --- even hypothetical. Science, as we know it today, is heavily biased in the direction of notions and wishful thinking as in the case of the brain-storms of the jew Carl Sagan, who is advertised as some sort of genius, as are most jews anyway. Since our criminal government is essentially a Zionist one, it is no surprise that politicians lend an ear to any twaddle which flows from the lips of jews and Christian Zionists. Americans, always prone to believe ridiculous gossip, jump hither and thither to the tune of the jewish media.

Sometime after everyone got into the swing of spraying their armpits, crotches and their neighbor's garage walls, with Freon propelled pore-glue or other substances designed to adhere to the surface, a few alarmist wails were heard: "Save the ozone layer." A few scientists claimed that the Freon in those aerosol cans was depleting the ozone layer. Other scientists disagreed. One must remember that Congress is always itching to regulate something -- anything. It is a variation of the Christian urge to meddle in everything. So, you'll never guess which batch of Ph.D.'s they listened to. That's right -- those who could give them some reason to impose more regulations. Thus, in 1978, all Freon CFC-12 was banned for propellant use. In 1994, all newly manufactured autos were required to use R-134 and those in the auto air conditioning business were also required to have very expensive reclamation equipment. Joe Six-pack was no longer able to service his own auto's air conditioner. R-12 used to cost about $2 per pound. Since it has been outlawed for personal use, the black market cost is somewhere in the neighborhood of $45 to $75 per can but those with a license can still purchase left over quantities at $18. The poorer, but politically correct refrigerant, R-134, usually requires a larger compressor and condenser to do the same job as did R-12, therefore adding to the expense of your new 4-wheeler. Large molecules just don't make it in the refrigeration business. The R-134 molecule is 40 percent more massive than the R-12 molecule.

Due mainly to the kinetic energy of Freon gas, the molecules end up in the ozone layer. Some UV wave-lengths bust up those molecules to produce reactive substances such as chlorine which readily form compounds with ozone, thus depleting it -- thus causing the alarm. Now mind you, I am aware of no study of the effects that these new compounds might have upon UV absorption. It is perhaps possible that they could turn out to be just as an effective barrier as ozone and oxygen are. Please keep in mind that not only does ozone absorb harmful UV rays, so does oxygen and I am sure that these substances are not unique relative to this property. UV radiation promotes all sorts of reactions.

We are told that the UV rays split the R-12 molecule but the R-134 molecule remains in tact. Ha. Ha. If R-12 destroys ozone by chemical reaction, then I shall repeat: UV creates more ozone from the oxygen that is available. Moreover, if R-12 gets into the ozone layer then where in hell do you think all of that supposed escaping R-134 is going?

We get into these quandaries because stupid people elect their own kind to office. Virtually every member of Congress has no training in the hard sciences -- they are mainly word-twisting lawyers -- and have to depend upon whom they believe to be the most credulous in the scientific community.

Now we must turn to the seriousness of it all. How much Nazi Freon is up there punching holes in our "survivor" UV umbrella?

There are about 150 million automobiles running rampant here in the collapsing United States. Let's suppose that they all have air conditioning and that each system holds 5 pounds of non-toxic, but "deadly," Freon R-12. (I would venture a guess that the days of R-134 are also numbered.) Let's further suppose that as a sign of the "end times," all of those air conditioning units developed a God-imposed leak thus releasing some 375 thousand tons of R-12 into the atmosphere which would occupy a volume of .015 cubic miles. (Tons to pounds to grams to moles to liters to cubic inches, cubic feet and finally cubic miles; for those who wish to do the arithmetic calculations.) The amount of ozone, corrected for STP (standard temperature and pressure), in the so-called "layer" occupies a space of 750 cubic miles (7.4 billion tons). Thus, the Freon pollution, by volume, of our hypothetical disaster case is approximately 1 part out of 50,000 -- that's .002 percent!

OK. Let's further suppose that each of the 5 atoms of 1 molecule of Freon is capable of sending 1 molecule of ozone "up the chimney," thus removing it from the equilibrium. From the preceding paragraph, this will leave 49,995 molecules -- out of the 50,000 -- still intact. That's a whopping 99.99 percent. I can live with that and so can you even if the above scenario indeed happened.

The Freon nonsense is in bed with other flights of fancy such as the "nuclear winter," "global warming," the "greenhouse effect," the millennium, the "second coming," Armageddon and that never-ending sequence of Hollywood disaster stories: Earthquake, Inferno, Tidal Wave, Volcano, Avalanche and acid reflux.

This century will probably be remembered as the "gas century." First, there was the chlorine and phosgene gases of WW I. This was followed by the never-used German nerve gasses of 1936 and, of course, the "shower gas" of Auschwitz plus the following decades of Spielberg "docu-gas" movies. Ozone is a gas. Carbon dioxide is a gas. Carbon monoxide is a gas. Nitrous oxides are gasses. All of us, it seems, are survivors of one variety of gassing or the other.

Any society which ennobles degeneracy, enriches morons, elects perverts to office and attempts to make the world safe for idiots, is one in which all forms of lunacy will eventually be promoted. And you ain't seen nuttin' yet.
